Getting Started
Duplicating the template
Welcome! Before you can customize your Framer template, you need to duplicate it into your own Framer workspace. This is the very first step — and it takes less than 30 seconds.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have a Framer account. You can sign up for free at framer.com. A free plan is enough to get started — you'll only need a paid plan when you're ready to publish with a custom domain.
Step-by-Step: Duplicating the Template
Open the template link — Use the link provided after your purchase. It will open a preview page in your browser.
Click "Get a Copy" — You'll see a blue button in the top right corner of the preview. Click it.
Sign in or sign up — If you're not logged into Framer, you'll be prompted. Log in or create a free account.
Choose a workspace — If you have multiple Framer workspaces, choose which one to duplicate the template into. Most users only have one.
Template opens in Framer — That's it! The template is now in your workspace as your own project, ready to edit.
💡 Tip: You can rename the project immediately by clicking the project name at the top of the screen. Give it something meaningful like "My Portfolio" or "Client Website".
What Happens After Duplicating?
The duplicated template is 100% yours. Any changes you make won't affect the original template. You can experiment freely without worrying about breaking anything permanently — Framer also has version history.
⚠️ Note: If you purchase the template again or share the link, a new separate copy is created. Your existing project is never overwritten.
